【書評】１−２　幼少期

久しぶりの投稿になってしまいました。

スティーブ・ジョブズの幼少期を中心に読みました。

彼はとてもカリスマ的で自分にも他者にも厳しい人と言われていましたが、そのルーツは幼少期にあったようです。

以下は管理人の感想です。

Steve Jobs' biological parents could not raise him because his mother's father strongly disagreed with  his daughter's marriage. She loved her father so she decided to give her son to other parents. 

Steve Jobs already knew he was abandoned when he was a child. He said, " I don't care whether I was adopted or not, and it's none of my business." 

However, I certainly believe that he felt really bad and actually he wanted to draw his parents attention in order to keep his self-esteem. In addition, he tried to become a great person to have had his parents wish he would back. That's why he was so strict to his friends and co-workers. He had a huge pride and never accepted to be disrespected from others. 

このようなジョブズの考え方は管理人にも通ずるところがあります。

幼い頃の辛い経験を自身のキャリア形成に十分に生かしたジョブズ。彼の完璧主義な性格や残忍な一面は、幼少期のトラウマに少なからず関係がありそうです。裏を返せば、付き合いづらくて、とってもストレスが溜まりそうな性格なのも事実でしょう。

もしかしたら、天才とはこのような逆境をバネに成長できる人なのかも知れませんね。
